SELINSGROVE, Pa.— The Elizabethtown baseball team closed out the regular season in thrilling fashion as it took 13 innings before Quinten Perilli scored the winning run with his 11^th homerun of the season. The Blue Jays defeated Susquehanna, 6-5.

Etown earns their 30^th win of the season as they move to 30-9 and 16-2 in the Landmark. Susquehanna falls to 21-17 and 8-9 in the Landmark.

Elizabethtown continued their usual ways in scoring first, as the Blue Jays scored two in the top of the first. Ben Watson led off the inning with a single to second and advanced on a wild pitch. Quinten Perilli smacked a two-run homer to left field.  In the bottom half of the inning, Susquehanna put up three runs, taking a 3-2 lead.  The Riverhawks added another run in the second to extend their lead, 4-2. The third through sixth innings were scoreless before Etown scored three to take the lead, 5-4.

In the seventh, Watson singled, advanced on a passed ball, and then advanced to third on a Riverhawk error. Robbie Bertucio hit the Blue Jays second homerun of the day for three RBIs. Susquehanna tied the game, 5-5 in the eighth. Neither team was able to score in the ninth, which then forced extra innings.

It wasn't until the 13^th inning that a run was scored. Perilli led off the top half with his second homerun of the day which would end up being the game-winning run for Etown.

Perilli went 3-5 with two runs, three RBIs, and two homeruns. Watson went 4-7 with two runs.

Elizabethtown will compete in the Landmark Conference Championship starting May 12^th, hosted by Scranton.
