Trynosky Records Career-High 21 Saves in Loss to Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa.-- Elizabethtown women's lacrosse goalie, Alayna Trynosky recorded a career-high 21 saves in the net for the Blue Jays as they fell, 15-3 at Susquehanna. 

Elizabethtown responded first as Sam Deiaco scored at the 11:18 minute mark on a free-position opportunity. Susquehanna then led through the rest of the first quarter tallying three goals in the final six minutes. In the second quarter, the Riverhawks got first possession on the draw control and two minutes later, Susquehanna led, 4-1. The Blue Jays got to work and two minutes later, Drew Bridges cut
Susquehanna's lead on a free possession goal. At the 7:21 minute mark, Cassidy Pawlicki grabbed the draw control and ran all the to score as Susquehanna led, 7-3. At halftime, Susquehanna led 8-3.

Susquehanna took full control in the second half, not allowing an Etown goal. The Riverhawks scored two in the third and five in the fourth to get the 15-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Susquehanna out shot Etown, 48-19. 

Elizabethtown will host Moravian, Wednesday April 12 at 6PM.
