ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's lacrosse team fell, 18-4 to visiting Juniata as the Blue Jays honored their three seniors,
Madison Morabito,
Hannah Cressman, and
Cassidy Pawlicki prior to the game.
Junior,
Sam Deiaco recorded her 100th career-point as she scored the second Blue Jay goal of the game.
Juniata put up six goals in the first quarter then added seven more in the second quarter to take a commanding, 13-3 lead over Elizabethtown. In the second quarter, the Eagles scored the first two goals before Etown got on the board. At the 11:42 minute mark,
Megan Meyer scored before Cressman assisted Deiaco on a man-down goal at the 10:18 minute mark. JC went up 9-2 before
Kendall Ulmer scored the Blue Jays third goal on a free-position.
Etown held Juniata to two goals in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Juniata fired off three more goals before Cressman again assisted Deiaco with three minutes remaining in the game.
Juniata out-shot Elizabethtown 40-16.
Alayna Trynosky made eight saves in the net for the Blue Jays. Deiaco recorded two goals and grabbed four draw controls. Pawlicki picked up five ground balls and eight draw controls.
The Blue Jays travel to Drew, Saturday April 22 at 11AM.
