MADISON, N.J.-- An 11 point first quarter for the Drew Rangers was fatal in the Elizabethtown women's lacrosse, 19-4 loss at Ranger Stadium.
Drew got on the board first within the first minute of play. Elizabethtown responded shortly after as
Megan Gress assisted Madison Hennely. The Rangers would then go on to score 10 more goals before the end of the first quarter in a dominating fashion. In the second, the Rangers held Elizabethtown to zero goals and two shots. Drew tacked on three more goals in the quarter as they led, 14-1 at halftime.
In the third quarter, Drew again struck first at the 14:02 minute mark and then scored their second goal of the quarter at the 6:43 minute mark. About two minutes later,
Sam Deiaco scored on a free-position attempt. In the final quarter, the Rangers struck quickly scoring two goals in the first five minutes.
Drew Bridges scored unassisted at the 6:27 minute mark and then again with less than a minute remaining. The Rangers defeated Etown, 19-4.
Bridges led the team with two goals, four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Cassidy Pawlicki played great on the defensive side totaling four ground balls, three caused turnovers and four draw controls.
Madison Morabito grabbed three ground balls and four draw controls.
The Blue Jays will close out their season at Catholic on Saturday, April 29 at 1PM.
