WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The Elizabethtown men's basketball team dropped their second Landmark Conference game of the season as they traveled to Lycoming Saturday. The Blue Jays fell in a close contest, 86-81.
Austin Finarelli led the team for his second game in a row with 21 points while grabbing four steals. Off the bench
Niko Georgelis added 12 points while
MJ Branker totaled 11 points.
The first quarter was scoreless until three minutes in when Lycoming sunk a 3-pointer before
Alon Gorham made a layup at the 17 minute mark. Lycoming held the lead through the first eight minute after another three as they led, 19-11. Etown came within one of the Warriors after a Branker layup. Finarelli kept it tight before Lycoming pulled away as they came out with a 45-33 lead at halftime.
To start the second half, Finarelli added a three to bring the score to 45-36. Georgelis added three free throws along with a 3-pointer to keep it within ten of Lycoming. Following points from

Dylan Rowe, Lycoming led by ten points at 70-60. Branker closed the gap as he added a jumper in the paint with seven minutes remaining. Georgelis and Finarelli helped the Blue Jays helped the Blue Jays to close in on the Warriors with the score being, 79-74. Etown kept the Warriors lead less than ten through the end of the half but couldn't close in as Lycoming won, 86-81.
Etown will host Susquehanna on Saturday, December 9 at 2 PM.
