ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's basketball earned their third straight win as they put up a season-high 96 points in the 96-86 win over Lancaster Bible. 
The first half started in a back-n-forth affair with Elizabethtown holding an 11-8 after 
Jalin Robinson drowned a three. The Blue Jays pulled away by eight points following another three by Robinson at the 14:37 minute mark. For the majority of the first half neither team could pull away by double-digits. After trading points, Lancaster Bible tied up the game at 17-17 following a layup. The Chargers kept pulling away as they extended their lead by seven at 6:53. Two free throws by 
Rance Russo kept the Jays within seven at 32-25. The Chargers kept gaining momentum and by the end of the half they led by 14 points, 32-46. 
Elizabethtown was off to a hot start in the second half putting up nine points in row contributed by, 
Dylan Rowe, Russo, and 
Tyreke Herbert. Russo sunk a three at the 17:55 minute mark coming just within four points of Lancaster Bible. Two made free throws by Russo would tie up the game at 48-48. For the next several minutes, the teams would trade points as the Chargers led, 65-70 midway through the half. Neither team would give up a substantial lead in the second half. With just under five minutes remaining the Blue Jays had pulled away by nine points after a Russo three-pointer. In the final three minutes of the game the teams would trade free throws. Elizabethtown ultimately came out victorious winning, 96-86. 
Russo led both teams for a season-high 28 points as he went 10-11 in free throws while also grabbing seven rebounds. Herbert recorded a career-high 20 points and added five assists. Robinson totaled a season-high 18 points from the bench as he went 4-6 in three-pointers. Elizabethown shot 51.6% from the floor. The Blue Jays also shot 55.6% from the three-point arch and tied a season-high 10 made three-pointers. 
Etown is back in Landmark action this Saturday, January 7 at 4 PM as they face Moravian.
