HUNTINGDON, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown field hockey team dropped their second Landmark Conference game of the season falling, 1-0 at Juniata on a rainy Saturday.
Both teams were evening matched as Elizabethtown and Juniata tallied four shots a piece but Juniata was able to capitalize on on shot securing the 1-0 victory. Both were also equal in saves as Etown goalie recorded three saves in the net.
The Blue Jays were unable to get a shot off until the second quarter following a penalty corner,
Grace Hussey recorded the shot but it was saved by Eagles goalie, Brittney McMullen. Five minutes later, the Eagles got on the board with the lone goal of the game. After the half, Etown held more possession as
Chloe Smith took two shots following a corner. In the final quarter neither team were able to take a shot.
Elizabethtown travels to Swarthmore for a mid-week non-conference matchup, October 4th at 4:30 PM.
