GAME ONE: SUSQUEHANNA 3 ELIZABETHTOWN 1
Etown wasted little time getting on the board in game one, as Fisher singled in his first at-bat of the game and then moved into scoring position by stealing second. With two out, Thompson laced a single to left-center, plating Fisher and giving the Blue Jays an early 1-0 lead.
Susquehanna tied the game in the third and then took the lead on one swing when sophomore JP Yore hit a two-run home run to left field for the two-run advantage (3-1).
The River Hawks looked to pad their lead in the top of the sixth, loading the bases with no outs. Junior
Matt Barton came out of the bullpen and did not allow Susquehanna to break the game open, putting the batters down in order and keeping the score 3-1.
In the bottom of the sixth, Etown began to rally as a sacrifice bunt by junior
James Vito moved juniors
Robbie Bertucio and Joey Thompson into scoring position. The rally however stops abruptly as junior
Lucas Carr lined into a double play, allowing the River Hawks to escape.
The Blue Jays were unable to threaten the rest of the way as Susquehanna took game one, 3-1.
Senior
Joseph Sarich (1-1) allowed three earned runs on three hits and struck out four in the losing effort.
Freshman Teagan Duffie (2-0) earned his second win of the season, allowing one run on four hits and striking out four. Freshman Aidan Martin registered his first collegiate save, working four-inning shutout innings with three strikeouts.

Elizabethtown attempted one last rally in the bottom of the sixth, loading the bases with two outs. Shepherd took advantage of the situation, singling to right-center bringing sophomore

That is as close as the Blue Jays would get as the River Hawks tacked on three more runs in the top of the seventh for an 11-4 victory in game two.
