ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Juniors
Kate Ziegler and
Lexie Sharp both reached milestones in Saturday's 14-5 win over Hood for the Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team. Ziegler scored her 100th goal in the game and Sharp recorded her 100th point as E-town put up seven goals in each half to win its second straight.
The first four goals of the game belonged to Sharp as she outscored Hood (1-3) herself in the game. Her first came a player down five and a half minutes into the first half.
Mirthe Berends set her up for her second of the contest less than two minutes later.

Emily Garvin had her first of three in the game three minutes after Sharp's four-goal outburst to start to make it 5-0 before the Blazers would get on the board. Laura Skorobatsch made it 5-1 with a little over 10 minutes to go in the half.
Sharp got her 100th point on her fifth goal of the game with under four minutes to go. Ziegler had the helper on the goal. The Line Lexington, Pa. native then earned her 100th career goal with only one second left on the clock as she sent Elizabethtown into the half ahead 7-2.
While the offense was doing its job, so was the Blue Jays' defense. Garvin had a team-high four caused turnovers while
Cassidy Pawlicki added another three. Garvin and
Olivia Beachley both registered five ground balls.
Caity Howell only needed to make three saves in the goal to get her second win of the season.
