ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team had plenty to celebrate on Saturday in a 16-2 win over Juniata at Wolf Field. On their day of celebration, the seniors made their mark at both ends of the field in the Blue Jays' third straight win.
Madelyn Baker and
Julia Ferrante combined for 11 points and
Abby Kopytko did not allow a goal in 33 minutes of action for E-town.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Elizabethtown (5-7, 2-1 Landmark) took advantage of the draw controls to establish possession in their offensive end and cash in.
- Baker had two of her five goals in teh first three minutes and had a hat trick less than ten minutes into the game.
- Baker and Sharp scored consecutive goals to make it 5-0 and 6-0 despite being down a player.
- Ferrante, the Landmark's assist leader, added another five to her total on Saturday with two in the first half and three in the second.
- Talia Bertrando scored twice for Juniata (6-7, 1-2 Landmark), the opening two goals of the second half.

Alexis Patterson recorded her second of the season late in the game off a feed from Ferrante.

Kate Ziegler was the third player with at least three goals for the Blue Jays.

Maggie Fees was one of 10 players for E-town with a groundball and
Olivia Beachley had a team-high five draw controls.
- Baker,
Mirthe Berends, Beachley, and Ziegler each had multiple caused turnovers.

Jennifer Beihoff, who played much of the second half, had four saves for the Jays.
- Isabella Medaris had a game-high 11 saves for the Eagles.
