ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- While Moravian got the better of the Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team in Wednesday's Landmark Conference matchup at Wolf Field,
Madelyn Baker set the program record for free position goals for the Blue Jays. Baker and
Lexie Sharp each had four goals to lead E-town.
Abby Kopytko stopped a season-high 15 shots.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Moravian (8-4, 3-1 Landmark) took control in the early going, winning draw controls to set up the attack. Jillian Picciuto and Liz Bill (2) scored the first three goals and the Greyhounds led 3-0 through six minutes.

Kate Ziegler scored her first of three in the game with 22:57 left in the first half to get Elizabethtown (5-8, 2-2 Landmark) on the board.
- Baker's first goal of the game came on a free position to give her the school record after tying it with two on Saturday against Juniata. Baker's new record sits at 41 currently after she went 3-for-3 on free position attempts in the game.
- A 14-5 halftime lead for Moravian was up to a 16-6 lead midway through the second half when E-town turned it on and got back into the game to put the Greyhounds on their heels a bit.
- Baker's 47th of the year started a 6-0 run for the Jays as they closed a 16-5 gap to 16-11, which ended on Sharp's 47th of the season.
- Baker assisted on
Jess Principe's goal to keep the deficit at five with a little over seven minutes remaining.
- The Greyhounds scored the final five goals of the game.
- Liz Bill led MOR with six goals. Baker had a team-high six points (4g, 2a) for the Blue Jays.
- Kopytko's counterpart in goal, Kelley Gavin, stopped 10 shots for Moravian.
