Immaculata snaps baseball's win streak

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Coming off three thrilling wins over the weekend, the Elizabethtown College baseball team couldn't keep the momentum rolling as Immaculata beat the Blue Jays 18-8 in eight innings. The game was called after the top half of the eighth due to darkness. Eamon McCoubrey drove in his first three career RBIs and Riley McGinley homered for the second time this season for E-town.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Immaculata (15-11) scored in each of the first five innings and had a 10-3 lead.
- McGinley's home run came in the second inning, a solo shot that cleared the left field fence. The junior scored in the fourth on a fielding error with two outs.
- Anthony Knight doubled home Tyler McGonigle as the Blue Jays were down 8-3 after the senior's RBI extra base hit.
- Elizabethtown (11-20) was within three after the sixth, 10-7. McCoubrey cleared the bases with a double the got over the left fielder's hit and to the fence. McGinley, Nick Bein, and Derek Manning scored to make it 10-6.
- Bein flew out to right in the sixth, scoring JT Thompson, a defensive sub at catcher in the top of the fifth.
- Thompson's second hit of the game was an RBI base knock to right field. He was 2-for-2 at the plate.
- The Mighty Macs scored six runs in the eighth before the final out. At that point, the umpires decided to call the game on account of darkness.
- Thompson, Mike Christy, and McGinley each had multi-hit efforts for the Blue Jays. McGinley had a team-high three with four plate appearances.
