ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Derek Manning completed the Elizabethtown College baseball team's comeback in game one with a walkoff two-run home run and
Doug Hook scored safely on an errant throw in the bottom of the ninth of game two as the Blue Jays came away with not one, but two walkoffs win over Juniata on Saturday for Senior Day at Kevin Scott Boyd Stadium.
Anthony Cameron earned the win in both games for E-town.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1: Elizabethtown 4, Juniata 3
- A three-run home run for Isaac Maclay in the top of the first put Juniata (9-18, 1-10 Landmark) up 3-0.
- Starter Gavin Grimadli held Elizabethtown (10-19, 3-8 Landmark) scoreless through five innings.
- Manning scored on
Nick Bein's sacrifice fly to center in the bottom of the sixth to cut the deficit to 3-1.

Andrew Fisher knocked in
Riley McGinley on an RBI base hit to right field and E-town was down just 3-2 with one inning to go.

Eric Sipling and Cameron held the Eagles off the scoreboard in the seventh to give their hitters a chance to rally.

Robbie Bertucio drew a one-out walk to put the game-tying run on base.
- Manning smacked a two-out, two-run home run, his Landmark-leading seventh of the season, to left field to end it.

Kelly Holdren struck out six batters in six innings for the Blue Jays.
Game 2: Elizabethtown 5, Juniata 4
- Hunter Price kept Elizabethtown scoreless through six innings while his offense provided him with three runs.
- The Eagles scored once in the second and twice in the third as they remained ahead 3-0 through six.
- E-town got to Price in the seventh. Manning led off the bottom half of the inning with a single.
Nick Bein followed with a two-run home run to left field to halve the deficit.
- Manning doubled in
Anthony Knight in the eighth to bring the Jays within a run, 4-3.
- Juniata had its first two batters on base in the ninth when Larry Coyle laid down a sac bunt to advance both.
Mike Christy barehanded the ball and threw out the runner at third for the first out of the inning.
- Cameron relieved
Matt Barton and got Adam Kipp to strike out looking and Knight secured a foul pop out behind home plate.

Riley McGinley laced a single to left field to begin the bottom of the ninth.

Doug Hook drew a two-out walk to put the game-tying run at second base for Knight.
- Knight shot a double to the right center gap, deep enough to score McGinley safely from second. The relay throw to third went over the third baseman's head and Hook was able to make it home for the walkoff run.
UP NEXT
Elizabethtown and Juniata will finish out their Landmark Conference series tomorrow at Boyd Stadium. The game will start at 11 a.m. to accommodate for the potential of inclement weather.
