ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College field hockey team was able to celebrate Senior Day in style as four seniors contributed to the Blue Jays' 4-1 win over Goucher Saturday afternoon at Wolf Field.
Celene Desko was one of the goal scorers for E-town, the first of her career.

Elizabethtown (6-10, 4-2 Landmark) held the Gophers without a first-quarter shot as they dominated play. Nearly half of the Jays' penalty corners for the game came in the opening 15 minutes and
Olivia Beachley was able to capitalize on one of them near the end of the first.
On the third of three consecutive corners, Beachley inserted the ball, which then wound up on her stick. An initial shot from the senior was stopped by Goucher (7-9, 1-5 Landmark) goalie, Devin Brashear. Her follow up was successful as she gave E-town a 1-0 lead late in the first quarter.
37 seconds into the second quarter, Desko had her first of the season and first of her career with the Blue Jays. Senior teammate,
Lauren Scheib, set up Desko for the goal that gave the Blue Jays a 2-0 advantage.
Danielle Johnson responded for the Gophers, scoring on the only shot of the quarter for Goucher, to halve the lead just a few minutes after Desko's goal.
Elizabethtown pressured in the third and struck for a third goal.
Grace Hussey found the back of the cage for her second of the season late in the third quarter. Beachley provided the assist on the goal as the Jays scored for the second time off a penalty corner.
The Blue Jays added the fourth and final goal in the fourth quarter.
Emily Garvin had a shot saved by Brashear, one of her game-high six, but
Grace Hardy got the ball to
Madison Kubik, who scored her second of the year to make it a 4-1 scoreline for Elizabethtown.
Madeline Kachel faced one shot in the fourth and made the save as EC held on for the three-goal victory.
The field hockey team will host Rowan on Wednesday, October 30, at 4:30 p.m.
