ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Wednesday night's non-conference "Marshmallow Bowl" between the Elizabethtown College men's soccer team and Messiah has been cancelled.

The Blue Jays were set to travel to Grantham to take on the nation's top-ranked team at 7 p.m., but after enduring rain all day Tuesday and overnight, the decision was made late Tuesday to cancel.

The long-standing rivalry's latest chapter will have to wait until 2019 to be written.

Elizabethtown returns home to Ira R. Herr Field on Saturday to face Landmark foe Juniata at 1 p.m.
