Senior Traci Tempone captured an impressive third-place finish Saturday at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble. Tempone finished in the top five at Oberlin for the second straight season after her runner-up finish there a year ago. In three career attempts at the race, she's finished 17th or better in each.

Saturday, the Collegeville, Pa., native ran a 6k time of 21:59.1, just five seconds off the race-winning pace. Tempone led the Blue Jays to seventh of 34 teams in the final standings. The E-town women are currently ranked fourth in the Mideast Region and 31st in the USTFCCCA Division III National Coaches' Poll.
