2013 (Sophomore): Coming off a strong freshman season, the Chambersburg product only got better in year two, culminating in an All-Commonwealth Conference Honorable Mention nod...One of three players to take part in all 34 matches along with Karley Ice and Kelci Scannapieco...Played the fourth most sets (120) of any Blue Jay...Statistics improved on both sides of the ball...Saw a 125-kill improvement from year one, finishing the 2013 season with 345...Her 2.88 kills per set were a .76 gain from the previous season, and ranked within the top 10 of the Commonwealth Conference...Attacked at a better rate (.150), even with 400 additional opportunities from her freshman year...Teammates looked Mowen's way more often than not, providing her with a team-high 1,165 attack attempts...345 kills ranked just outside the top 10 on program's single-season list...Also set new career marks for aces (41), aces/set (0.34), digs (291), digs/set (2.43), blocks (26) and blocks/set (0.22)...Reached double figures in kills in 20-of-34 matches...Led Elizabethtown with 13 double-doubles, all on kills and digs...Five consecutive matches with double-digit kills from Sept. 7-13...Set a career-high for kills in a match three different times during the season, doing it for good with 24 kills and 14 digs against Cairn Sept. 21...Her 24 kills against Cairn were tied for the eighth most in a match in team history...Tallied three straight double-doubles from Sept. 7-10, and again from Sept. 21-28...Lifted E-town over Saint Vincent (Pa.) 2012 (Freshman): Mowen fit nicely into coach Randall Kreider's plans in her first year wearing blue and gray...Appeared in 32-of-33 matches and 104 sets...Team leader in kills with 220...Was the only player on the team to average more than two kills per set (2.12)...Recorded nearly 100 more attack attempts than any other player on the team (765)...Doubled as one of E-town's biggest weapons from the service line where her 30 aces ranked second to only freshman teammate Steph High...Ranked sixth on the team in digs (137)...One of eight players to hit the century mark in digs for the season...Her 1.32 digs per set were sixth most amongst players with 85 sets or more played...Fifth on the Jays in blocks with 22 (five solo, 17 assists)...Impressive in her first NCAA match with eight kills and nine digs in a 3-2 win over Penn State Berks Aug. 31...Provided very consistent kill numbers throughout the season...Twice accumulated 11 kills in a match (at Moravian Sept. 14 and vs. Rochester Sept. 21)...Had seven matches in which she came up a kill shy of double figures...Most efficient offensive matches of the year came against Manhattanville Oct. 6, and at Widener Sept. 25...Against M-Ville, Mowen recorded 10 kills and no errors on 13 attempts for a .769 hitting percentage...At Widener, racked up 10 kills and no errors on 20 total tries for a .500 hitting percentage...Season-high four aces against DeSales Sept. 7, and at Widener Sept. 25.
