Emily Eddowes is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team in 2017.
Eddowes, originally from Lancaster, recently completed her collegiate playing career for nationally-recognized NCAA Division II Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. The attacker racked up 63 career points on 30 goals and 33 assists, while helping the Tars to a four-year record of 52-19.
Eddowes had her best statistical season as a junior in 2015, scoring 13 goals and assisting on 12 more for 25 points as Rollins won the inaugural Sunshine State Conference (SSC) championship and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships.
The Tars were the SSC runner-up in 2016 and made three NCAA tournament appearances (2013, 2015, 2016) during Eddowes career.
An all-around player for Penn Manor High School, Eddowes was a member of Comet teams that reached the District 3 semifinals and PIAA state tournament all four years. Penn Manor advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2010, Eddowes' sophomore season, and she played a crucial role in leading the Comets to the state semifinals in her junior and senior seasons.
Eddowes was selected a two-time Lancaster-Lebanon League All Star and a Section I All Star, earning the honors in 2011 and 2012.
In addition to coaching at Elizabethtown, Eddowes is also a coach at the club level with Lanco Elite.
