Emilie Brinser '25 has been a student manager for the Elizabethtown women's basketball team since September 2021.

Emilie's responsibilities include:
• Track and analyze daily practice statistics
• Plan meals for away games and interstate travel for players and coaches
• Prepare gym for practice including clock, video camera, and equipment
• Organize and maintain practice, game, and travel equipment
• Distribute scouting reports, shot charts, and game plan reports
• Assist in budgeting funds to appropriate women’s basketball accounts
• Logistical management for senior day, banquet, and milestone celebrations
• Create women’s basketball social media posts for Instagram and Twitter accounts
• Create team newsletter capturing player accomplishments, game outcomes, and team announcements
• Keep track of official scorebook for home games; game table scorebook for away games
• Organize team lockers and provide updates including statistics, photos, and program archives
• Archiving photography into folders for individual players, along with media, and mail

She also has additional NCAA experience serving as a student manager at the NCAA Women's College Basketball Academy in July 2024 and at the Men's College Basketball Academy in July 2023, where she assembled credentials, player packs, t-shirts and meal cards for players, coaches and managers. She helped prepare the gym spaces for practices and games, served as a liaison for college coaches entering the venue and managed and supervised the gym.

Emilie spent May to August 2022 as an Operations Intern at Spooky Nook Sports in nearby Manheim, Pa. She assisted with daily facility needs, which included setting up for sporting events, banquets and meeting along with distributing equipment. Emilie helped prepare food for customer purchase or banquet events and operated cash registers with cash or card payments.

On campus, along with her managerial duties, Emilie is a Blue Jay Ambassador for the Office of Admissions, where she provides tours and answers questions for prospective students and their families. She also assists the Office Manager of Admissions for events including Open Houses and Accepted Student Day.
