Bob "Smitty" Smith is in his fifth season as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's basketball program in 2023-24.
Smith has served under head coach Veronica Nolt for each of his four seasons, working to reach back-to-back NCAA Div. III Tournament Appearances in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
During his time with the Blue Jays, Smith has helped the Blue Jays reach the Landmark Conference playoffs each year he has coached, barring the 2020-21 season that was canceled due to COVID-19. Smith has coached 6 all-conference selections, a Player of the Year, and a Rookie of the Year.
Smith has also coached two 20-win seasons and reached the conference championship in 2022-23.
