Zach Mentzer is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown men's lacrosse program in 2024-25.
Mentzer '23/'24M graduated with a Sport Management degree from York College (Pa.), where he was a short stick defensive midfielder for the Spartans from 2020-2024.
He played in 82 career games for YCP and totaled 30 points (14g, 16a) with his best statistical season coming in 2022 where he registered 8 goals and 10 assists in 23 games. Defensively, Mentzer amassed 92 ground balls and 69 caused turnovers.
Mentzer is a two-time All-Mac Commonwealth honoree, earning Second Team recognition in 2022 and Honorable Mention in 2023 for the Spartans. He was an All-York County player for Red Lion in both lacrosse and football.
