Recent Elizabethtown College graduate Megan Eppley, a three-year member of the Blue Jay field hockey team from 2015-17, returns as an assistant coach to Brandy Michael in 2018.
Eppley, a midfielder, was named All-South-Atlantic Region Second Team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as a senior and was twice voted All-Landmark Conference First Team (2016 and 2017).
The Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania native started 55 games for the Blue and Gray after transferring from Division I Rider University. She scored eight goals and assisted on 12 for 28 points during her Elizabethtown career.
Eppley's best season with the Jays came as a junior in 2016 when she produced five goals and five assists for 15 points. She assisted on Nicole Leaf's game-winning goal in double overtime as E-town defeated Susquehanna, 1-0, in the Landmark championship game on Nov. 5, for the program's first conference title since 1987. Elizabethtown advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship tournament, falling to Kenyon in the First Round.
Eppley received a biology degree from Elizabethtown in 2018.
