After a four-year playing career Amara Dell joined the Elizabethtown College field hockey coaching staff as an assistant in 2013.

Dell is completing the master's portion of the occupational therapy major at the College and received her bachelor's degree in the same field at commencement last May.

Dell was a three-year starter for the Blue Jays and served as a senior leader on the 2012 team that went 14-6. Elizabethtown reached the Commonwealth Conference Final in 2012, it's first appearance in the title game since 2001.

A West Perry High School graduate, Dell calls New Bloomfield, Pa. home.

At West Perry, she led the field hockey team to four Mid-Penn playoff appearances and a PIAA Class AA tournament. Individually, she was a Mid-Penn Colonial Conference First Team All-Star as a senior and was named a Carlisle Sentinel First Team All-Star.
