Jim Tetkoskie enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College baseball team in 2016.
Elizabethtown has registered 60 victories with Tetkoskie on staff. In 2015, the Blue Jays enjoyed their winningest season since 2009 with a 25-16 record. E-town qualified for the Landmark Conference Championships in its first season as a league member before falling to Moravian in a three-game semifinal series.
Tetkoskie helped the 2014 team to three victories over nationally-ranked opponents.
Tetkoskie joined Smith's staff prior to the 2013 season after a seven-year stay at Penn State Harrisburg. He spent the last four seasons (2009-12) as head coach, winning 49 games. The Nittany Lions won 18 games with Tetkoskie at the helm in 2009.
Prior to taking on head coaching duties, Tetkoskie assisted with fundraising, recruitment and player development for three seasons (2005-08).
Tetkoskie's coaching career began in 1985 as an assistant in the Cumberland County VFW League. He also spent time coaching in the Cumberland County American Legion and the Central York County Baseball League.
Tetkoskie eventually found his way to Hummelstown where he helped the Penn State Harrisburg program take off in 2005.
Tetkoskie earned a bachelor of science in structural design and construction engineering technology from Penn State in 1992. He currently works for Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson as a project engineer.
