Jim Tetkoskie

Jim Tetkoskie enters his 14th season as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College baseball team in 2024.

Elizabethtown has registered 181 victories with Tetkoskie on staff. In 2024, Etown tied the program record for wins in a season with 33 as the team was the Landmark Conference runner-up and then made their third straight trip the NCAA DIII Tournament. The team advanced to the NCAA DIII Harrisburg, Pa. Regional final which is the farthest the Blue Jays have gone in program history. In 2017, the Blue Jays enjoyed their winningest season since 2009 with a 28-17 record. Etown won its first Landmark Conference Championship in its third season in the league and was an NCAA Division III Regional qualifier for the first time since 2009.

Tetkoskie helped the 2014 team to three victories over nationally-ranked opponents.

Tetkoskie joined Smith's staff prior to the 2013 season after a seven-year stay at Penn State Harrisburg. He spent the last four seasons (2009-12) as head coach, winning 49 games. The Nittany Lions won 18 games with Tetkoskie at the helm in 2009.

Prior to taking on head coaching duties, Tetkoskie assisted with fundraising, recruitment and player development for three seasons (2005-08).

Tetkoskie eventually found his way to Middletown where he helped the Penn State Harrisburg program take off in 2005.

Tetkoskie earned a bachelor of science in structural design and construction engineering technology from Penn State in 1992. He currently works for Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson as a project engineer.
