Eric Yoder

Eric Yoder is in his eighth year as an assistant coach with the Elizabethtown College baseball team in 2025-2026. He spent the last seven years with Coach Sheibley making the Blue Jays contenders for not only the Landmark Conference championship but also helping the Jays make three consecutive NCAA DIII Tournament appearances. The Blue Jays won the Landmark Championship in 2022 and compiled back to back 30+ win seasons in 2023 and 2024 (tying the school record for wins with 33 in 2024).
 
During Coach Yoder’s time with the Blue Jays, he has been a part of winning records in 5 of the 7 seasons, with the Blue Jays finishing with a .500 record in the Landmark Championship season in 2022.
 
Elizabethtown has had 40 all-conference selections, 3 consecutive Players of the Year, a Rookie of the Year and a Pitcher of the Year. The Blue Jays have also had 16 All-Region selections and 1 All American during Yoder’s time with the program. Coach Yoder’s primary responsibility is working with the catchers and the Jays have had 4 all-conference catchers during his tenure. The Jays staff was also chosen as the Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year in 2023. The Blue Jays have a 154-102 record since 2019.
 
Prior to joining the Elizabethtown program, Coach Yoder was an assistant coach at Dickinson College for 15 seasons. Yoder was part of a staff who set then school records for wins in a season in both 2011 (21) and 2012 (25). Dickinson earned 26 All-Centennial conference selections during Yoder’s tenure. Yoder coached 4 all-conference catchers including a conference Gold Glove winner (Rick Hopkins) who established a conference record for runners caught stealing in a season (24). Dickinson also had multiple All-Region selections during Yoder’s time with the program.
 
Coach Yoder is a 1994 graduate of Dickinson College and has a Master’s in Higher Education from Clemson University (1997). He has worked for Dauphin County Children and Youth since 2001.
