While the first set was tight, Etown's lead never relinquished as the Blue Jays took the first set, 25-21. Kills from McFeaters and Stanek sandwiched a Dutchmen error to close out the set. LVC flipped the script in set two as they started off with the lead. The Blue Jays kept it close, but a five-point rally gave LVC the edge they needed to win, 25-19.

After being down12-7 to start the third set, the Blue Jays rattled off seven in a row to take a 14-12 lead. Kills from Tori Obarow, Sierra Plummer, and McFeaters brought the score to 23-18. McFeaters and Stanek once again ended the set with a kill each to win, 25-21.

Etown struggled in the fourth set, falling 25-16. The Blue Jays led 11-10 midway through the set before LVC gained momentum going on a 9-1 run to jump to a 19-12 lead. The Blue Jays were unable to recover and fell, 25-16.

To start the final set, Etown led 5-3 following an ace by Addy Reed. Due to LVC errors, Etown grabbed the next four points to take a 9-4 lead. The Dutchmen made it interesting as they came back within one but the Blue Jays managed to put it away and win, 15-11.

Etown will return home this Saturday to face Wilson and St. Francis starting at 11 am.
