TOWSON, Md.-- Elizabethtown field hockey standout, Lily DeBlasio was named Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week for her efforts in goal for the Blue Jays last week. 

DeBlasio helped Etown go 2-1 in their first week of the 2026 season. She totaled 23 saves while recording a career-high 15 saves against #16 Franklin & Marshall. Against Simmons, DeBlasio saw zero shots and earned her first shutout win of the season. 

The Blue Jays return home tomorrow, September 9 at 7 pm to face Albright.
