READING, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's soccer team registered its third shutout in four games on Saturday as the Blue Jays played the Penn State Berks to a scoreless tie.

Ella Smith made five of her six saves in the second half as she helped keep the Lions off the board.
First-year player
Chayse Flood had the game's first attempt on goal, but saw her shot saved by PSB goalie Riley Fisher.
Sky Shinnen had the Jays' other first-half shot on frame in the 29th minute. That, too. was saved by Fisher.
Smith made consecutive saves 28 seconds apart on the Lions' Paige Thomas to prevent the hosts from taking the lead.
She was counted on again with two more saves in the 65th minute as the game remained deadlocked at 0-0.
Smith made one more save in the 79th minute and did not face another shot on goal the remainder of the game as Etown drew with Berks.
The Blue Jays are scheduled to host Muhlenberg on Wednesday, September 23.
