ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College softball team was beaten twice at Muhlenberg by the Mules in non-conference action Thursday afternoon.
GAME 1: MUHLENBERG 7, ELIZABETHTOWN 1
Elizabethtown's bats were quiet throughout the opening game against the Mules.
Maddie Reever produced the Jays first hit in the third inning, just one of four in the game.
Skye Zolomij doubled later in the inning, but it did not amount to a run for Etown.
It was a scoreless game through the first four innings until Muhlenberg scored four in the fifth and three more in the sixth.
Sarah Birner singled in
Brooke Huczko in the seventh, but that was the only run EC would get.
Jess Dunn also had a hit for the Blue Jays.
GAME 2: MUHLENBERG 5, ELIZABETHTOWN 0
Muhlenberg took it to Elizabethtown right away, putting up five runs total in the first two innings and led 5-0 throughout.
Once again, the Blue Jay bats were struggling to get going, only recording three total in the second game.
