Two from Women's Lacrosse named Landmark All-Conference

TOWSON, Md.-- Hailey Meyer and Drew Bridges of the Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team were named to the Landmark All-Conference team, announced by the league on Thursday. 

Meyer was named to the first team as she earned her first career all-conference nod while Bridges earned honorable mention. Bridges was named to the second team last season. 

Meyer's 48 goals, 33 caused turnovers and 74 draw controls led the Blue Jays while ranking sixth in all categories in the conference. The midfielder also totaled 56 points, eight assists, and 66 ground balls. Meyer was also second in the conference in ground balls and ground balls per game. This season at Wilkes she recorded a career-high nine points (8g, 1a) and 12 draw controls. Meyer started in all 17 games for Etown as she recorded at least one goal per game. 

Bridges started in all 17 games for the Blue Jays during her senior campaign. The midfielder totaled 38 points, 26 goals, and 12 assists. She led the conference in ground balls (70) and ground balls per game (4.12) She recorded her 100th career point early this season against Albright and she recorded her 100th career goal against Wilkes.

Etown finished the season 9-8 and 4-5 in the conference after appearing in the Landmark Conference First Round for the second consecutive season.
