ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Reese Levinson was a Blue Jay on a mission in Wednesday night's 23-5 win over Moravian as the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team locked up the No. 3 seed in the Landmark. Levinson recorded a career-high 10 points in the game as the Blue Jays raced past the Greyhounds.
Levinson had Elizabethtown's first three goals in the game as they got ahead quickly. After Tristian Coleman's unassisted goal, Levinson then assisted on Etown's final four goals of the first quarter as they led 8-0 after one. Levinson assisted four different Blue Jay goal scorers;
Tom Gress, Coleman,
Jay Rodriguez and
Peter Pitrelli.
Levinson wasn't quite done, adding his fourth goal of the game early in the second quarter on a feed from
Finn Kristan. The junior also scored early in the third quarter and added a man up goal midway through the third, his sixth and final goal of the game, which tied his single-game career high. Levinson's four assists were a new career-high along with his point total in the game.
Elizabethtown led 14-0 at halftime and 19-0 after three as they shut out the Greyhounds through 45 minutes of play.
Moravian got on the scoreboard 1:25 into the fourth quarter on Jack Minetti's goal.
The Blue Jays had 10 different goal scorers on the night.

Casey Lamey (1),
Graham Lindsay (1) and
Ben Backenstose (1) also had goals for Etown.
Ben Zaitz made six saves through three quarters of action.
Christian Schrader and
Max Coady also split time in the fourth quarter.
The men's lacrosse team will host Drew in a Landmark Conference First Round game on Saturday, April 25, at 12 p.m.
