MADISON, N.J. -- Junior
Tristan Coleman recorded seven points for the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team in their 19-10 win at Drew Wednesday night. Coleman totaled four goals and three assists in the win.
Ben Zaitz made 12 saves in goal.
Elizabethtown held an early lead, but Drew took it away with three unanswered goals to grab a 3-2 lead with just over four minutes remaining in the opening quarter. The Blue Jays got four goals from four different players over the final three and change to take a 6-3 lead into the second.
Finn Kristan,
Reese Levinson,
Jay Rodriguez and
Nate Sharpe each scored in that four-goal run to end the first.
The Jays doubled up the Rangers for a second straight quarter, this time 4-2, to go into halftime ahead 10-5.
Rodriguez,
Brent Wehland, Coleman and Levinson all scored in the third quarter as Etown kept its lead well intact.
Jonah Pertet scored a man down for the Jays in the fourth while Coleman added a goal and an assist in the final quarter. The junior scored a goal in each quarter of the game to finish with his seven points.
Elizabethtown hosts Goucher on Saturday, April 18, at 1 p.m.
