Nick Fiorini was named Landmark Conference Baseball Athlete of the Week after helping the Elizabethtown baseball team go 3-2 on the week.
Fiorini put together a dominant week at the plate, going 11-for-19 (.579) with five runs scored and eight RBI. He put together five multi-hit performances, extending his hitting streak to seven games. He opened the week with a 2-for-3 performance against Hood, scoring twice with two RBI and a double, then followed it up at Franklin & Marshall by going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI, matching career highs in both categories. In a three-game series against Scranton, Fiorini added six hits, going 6-for-12 with three RBI and a double.
The Blue Jays will host Catholic tomorrow for game two of their conference series.
