MANHEIM, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College wrestling team had three named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-America Team. Corey Cope, Will Davis, and Ganon Smith were the honorees for the Blue Jays.

To be eligible to earn Scholar All-America honors, student-athletes must have placed either in the top eight at their regional tournaments, or have wrestled in at least 15 matches with a win percentage greater than 66 percent. Academically, they must have maintained at least a 3.2 GPA over the last two semesters or have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.

Cope went 25-13 this season for the Jays at 133, Davis took fourth at regionals, and Smith was the 184-pound regional champion and named the No. 1 seed in the weight class at the NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships.
