ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's tennis team downed Penn St.-Brandywine, 6-1 in their first dual match of the season on a hot Saturday.
The Blue Jays won the doubles matches winning two of the three to earn the point.
Elizabeth Warren and
Mariia Yeni won, 6-1 at no.2 doubles.
In singles play,
Katie Balzano won 6-1, 6-1 at no.2, Yeni won 6-0, 6-3 at no.3 and
Hannah Walker won 6-1, 6-0 at no.4.
Sara Hermany was victorious at no.5 singles winning, 6-1, 6-0.Â
Etown opens up conference play tomorrow against Catholic.Â
