GRANTHAM, Pa. -- Messiah blanked the Elizabethtown College men's soccer team 3-0 Wednesday night at Shoemaker Field in non-conference action.
The Falcons went ahead in the 25th minute on Patrick Lee's goal from the penalty spot. They led 1-0 at halftime and held a 12-1 advantage in shots.
While holding Elizabethtown to four shots total over 90 minutes, Messiah added a pair of second-half goals in the 66th and 79th minutes.
Pedro Miranda made five saves in the game for the Blue Jays.
Etown plays at Alvernia on Saturday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m.
