Baseball Earns Eighth Straight ABCA Team Academic Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Elizabethtown College baseball team was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Award. It is the eighth consecutive year the Blue Jays have appeared on the organization's list.

The ABCA's Team Academic Excellence Award honors high and college programs coached by ABCA members that post a grade point average over 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year.

The 2025 team saw numerous academic successes, highlighted by 14 players being named to the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Two Blue Jays also were named to the College Sport Communicators Academic All-District team.

More than 440 collegiate baseball programs spanning Division I, II, and III received the honor and Elizabethtown was one of six teams from the Landmark Conference to bring home the team academic award.
