Five Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- Five Elizabethtown College baseball players earned ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors announced by the organization, Tuesday. Quinten Perilli was named to the first team, AJ Lipscomb, David Woolley, and Mason Woolwine were named to the second team while Kyle Mulville earned third team honors. 

Perilli and Woolley earn their third straight ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honor. 

Landmark Conference Player of the Year and D3baseball.com All-Region first teamer, Perilli started in all 41 games for the Jays this season as he led the team in hits (55), runs (51), home runs (7), and RBIs (49). This season, the utility player become the all-time program leader with 149 RBIs and most recently became the Landmark Conference career leader in home runs with 31. Perilli also appeared in nine games on the mound grabbing two wins. He totaled 30 strikeouts with a career-high of six vs. Heidelberg and Lycoming. 

Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and D3baseball.com second team honoree, Lipscomb made 11 appearances on the mound totaling 48.1 innings pitched. The freshman led the Conference with a 1.86 ERA. He recorded 44 total strikeouts while grabbing a career-high of nine at Moravian this season. Lipscomb also appeared in 27 games while totaling 46 at-bats in which he tallied 18 hits and nine RBIs. 

Named to the Landmark All-Conference first team and to the D3baseball.com All-Region third team, Woolley appeared in 36 games, totaling 51 hits, 49 runs, and 29 RBIs. This season he surpassed 100 career RBIs and 100 career walks. Woolley ended his season with his first career grand slam against Scranton in the Landmark Conference Tournament. 

Woolwine who was recently named to the Landmark All-Conference first team, appeared in 35 games. The junior outfielder totaled 49 hits and 24 RBIs while holding a .366 batting average. Woolwine recorded his 100th career-hit earlier season and also recorded his second career grand slam. 

Mulville rounds out the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region nods for the Blue Jays as he earns his first for his career. Mulville made 12 appearances on the mound this year while earning seven wins. On the year he totaled 45 strikeouts with his 100th career strikeout coming early in the season. The senior made his mark on the program by earning his 27th career win in the Landmark Confernce Tournament which puts him at number one all-time in the Blue Jay record book. 

ABCA/Rawlings All-American will be announced Thursday, May 29.
