TOWSON, Md.-- The Elizabethtown women's lacrosse team landed three Blue Jays on the Landmark All-Conference teams announced, Friday. Senior,
Rachel Murphy was named to the First Team, junior,
Drew Bridges was named to the second team, and sophomore,
Jenna Wilson earned honorable mention.
This is the first Landmark All-Conference honor for all three Blue Jays. Murphy was a force in the goal for the Blue Jays in her final season. Starting in every game this season, Murphy grabbed a career-high 202 saves in a season. Murphy ends her career with over 400 saves at 430 total. Murphy held a .517 save percentage on the season. She made double digit saves in ten of her appearances while tying a career-high 18 saves in goal at Catholic.
Bridges started in all 17 games for the Blue Jays this season. She recorded career-highs 37 goals and 12 assists for a total of 49 points on the season. Bridges also grabbed 43 ground balls and 83 draw controls; leading the team in both categories. Bridges tied a career-high of six goals in a game against Drew and Wilkes.
Wilson appeared in 15 games while starting in 14 for Etown. A dominant force on defense, Wilson caused 17 turnovers while picking up 19 ground balls. She had a career-high four caused turnovers at Alvernia.
Elizabethtown ended their season with a 9-8 overall record while holding a 4-5 record in conference play. The Blue Jays made an appearance for the first time in the Landmark Conference tournament since 2021 as the sixth seed.
