ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- For the first time in program history two Elizabethtown men's volleyball players have been named to the Continental Volleyball Conference All-Conference Team in the same season.
Freshman,
Braydon Ambruster was named to the second team while junior,
Dustin Hagin earned third team honors.
Ambruster appeared in 27 matches while playing in 90 sets. The outside hitter, totaled 217 kills (2.41 per set), 18 aces, and 66 total blocks. Also as a setter, Ambruster tallied 376 assists and grabbed 94 digs. At Drew he recorded a career-high 20 kills and at King's (Pa.) he recorded a career-high 50 assists. Earlier this season Ambruster was named CVC Player of the Week and was named to the FrogJump Volleyball Team of the Week. He also was just named to the FrogJump National All-Freshmen Team.
Hagin appeared in 24 matches while playing in 90 sets. At libero, he totaled 47 assists and 275 digs. Against Lancaster Bible, Hagin recorded a career-high 21 digs. Eariler this season he became the all-time program leader in digs with 620.
The Blue Jays also ended with a 17-11 overall record which is their best in program history.
