ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Susquehanna spoiled the Elizabethtown College softball team's Senior Day with identical 4-1 wins at The Nest on Saturday.

SUSQUEHANNA 4, ELIZABETHTOWN 1
Scoreless through two innings, the River Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third on Lexi Palumbo's RBI single.

Elizabethtown tied the game in the bottom of the fourth as Skye Zolomij laid down a bunt that Bri Jones had no option but to go to first to get the sophomore. Jess Dunn scored on the play from third.

Susquehanna broke the tie in the fifth with three runs as Jones threw a complete game to get her ninth win.

Dunn was a perfect 3-for-3 in the game with a run scored, Izzy Akelaitis went 2-for-3.

Most of the game-two scoring happened in the first frame as Susquehanna produced three in the top half of the first thanks to a two-run double and an RBI single.

The Jays got a run back on Dunn's sacrifice fly to center to score Hannah Long. Long had stole second and then moved to third on a passed ball.

Savannah Patrone homered for the River Hawks in the seventh to tack on an insurance run as Amanda Amerman limited Etown to just one run over seven innings.

Long and Maddie Reever each had two hits in game two.

Elizabethtown will play at Hood on Monday, April 21.
