ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- Elizabethtown baseball, junior
Mason Woolwine recorded his 100th career-hit in the fifth inning of today's game against Juniata where the Blue Jays came out on top, 12-2; ending the game in eight innings.
Woolwine recorded his 100th career-hit as he went 2-5 with 2 runs and a stolen base.
David Woolley went 3-5 with 2 runs, a RBI, and a triple.
Quinten Perilli went 1-3 with a run and 3 RBIs.
Sawyer Martin went 3-5 with 2 runs, and 2 RBIs.
Kyle Mulville pitched a complete game, striking out three while just allowing four hits.
After two scoreless innings to start, Elizabethtown put up three runs in the third to take the lead.
Alex McClain led off the inning with a double to right center before advancing to third. Woolley smacked a triple to right center to score McClain. Woolley scored on a wild pitch before Perilli scored the third run off an error. Etown extended their lead to 4-0 in the fifth inning off a fielder's choice.
To start the sixth,
Nick Fiorini was walked and then advanced on McClain's single. The two advanced on a sacrifice bunt before they scored off an error made by the Eagles right fielder. Juniata scored their two lone runs off a double in the seventh. The Blue Jays tacked on another run in the seventh on a wild pitch to lead, 7-2. After a quick top of the eighth for Mulville, the Blue Jay bats ignited scoring five runs on seven hits to end the game, 12-2. Perilli, Martin, and

Tommy Kanakos hit a sacrifice fly to score the Blue Jays final five runs.
Etown ends their road stint and will travel to Catholic, Tuesday April 15 at 3:30 pm.
