ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's lacrosse team faced the top of the Landmark Conference in Scranton on Saturday at Wolf Field. The Royals beat the Blue Jays by a final of 16-3 to stay unbeaten in the conference.
Scranton ran out to a 7-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and made it 12-0 by halftime as the Blue Jays couldn't get anything going on the attack.
Elizabethtown won the third quarter, 2-1, on goals by
Drew Bridges and
Ella Scholes
Bridges added her second of the day early in the fourth quarter.
Rachel Murphy made 16 saves in the game for the Jays.
The women's lacrosse team will play at Catholic on Wednesday, April 16, 4 p.m.
