ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Senior
Summer McNulty was named D3hoops.com All-Region 5 for the Elizabethtown College women's basketball team on Tuesday.
McNulty's honor, her second time on the D3hoops.com All-Region 5 First Team, is her third career all-region selection, which is now a program record. Taylor Kreider (2012-13, 2013-14) and Veronica Christ (2019-20, 2021-22) were the only other two-time all-region honorees for the Blue Jays.
McNulty led Etown in scoring while shooting over 43 percent for the third time in her illustrious career. The senior was one of the top free throw shooters in the region and ranked inside the top 25 in Division III at over 85 percent.
She was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week in late February for the second time in her career after helping the Jays take down then unbeaten No. 2 Scranton.
McNulty helped guide Elizabethtown to a 23-5 record and an appearance in the NCAA Div. III Second Round for the second time in three years.
Players chosen to the all-region team are eligible for All-America selection. The D3hoops.com All-America Team will be announced Saturday, March 22, prior to the women's championships game at 4 p.m. ET.
