TOWSON, Md.-- For the first time in his career, sophomore Zuri Harris of the Elizabethtown men's basketball team was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week. 

Harris is helping the Blue Jays to their best start since 2010-11 with a 7-1 record overall as the team went 2-0 last week against #20 Drew and Goucher. Harris recorded a career-high 26 points and seven made 3-pointers as the Blue Jays defeated Drew, 95-93 in overtime. Against Goucher, Harris had a game leading 20 points while making five 3-pointers and grabbing a career-high five assists. 

On the week he totaled 46 points while averaging 23 points per game. Harris also went 11 for 16 in threes. 

The Blue Jays will resume after finals week as they travel to Shenandoah on Dec. 14.
