COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Senior,
Drew Bridges of the Elizabethtown College field hockey team was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region V team, announced by the league Wednesday.
Bridges was named to the first team and is the first all-region honoree for Etown since Megan Eppley in 2017.
Bridges was named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team and was named Landmark Offensive Player of the Year a few weeks back at forward.
Division III teams are separated into six regions and each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second teams.
The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of NFHCA postseason awards over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on December 11, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on December 16 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on December 18.
