TOWSON, Md. -- Four different players scored for the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team on Saturday at Goucher in a 4-0 shutout victory at Beldon Field.
Sophia Hogan and
Addy Feltman scored their first goals of their Etown careers in the game.
Elizabethtown held a distinct offensive advantage in the game over the Gophers and got their first goal in the 18th minute.
Skylar Mumford recorded her team-leading seventh of the season to put Etown ahead 1-0, her fourth goal in Landmark Conference play.
Sara Bean had the assist on the goal.
Then, in the 36th minute,
Maureen Arentz set up
Sophia Hogan to make it 2-0 for the Blue Jays, who led by the same scoreline at the half.
Just 31 seconds into the second half,
Grace Tessier made it 3-0, her third of the year as Elizabethtown continued adding on to its lead.
Later in the second half, Feltman scored in the 81st minute to put it at 4-0.
Ella Smith and
Erin Winslow combined for the shutout.
The women's soccer team wraps up the regular season at home on Tuesday, October 28, at 7 p.m.
