ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's soccer team was held without a goal in their final home regular season game at Ira R. Herr Field on Tuesday as Drew shut out the Blue Jays, 1-0.

The Rangers scored early as Andrew Dunne made it 1-0 in the eighth minute.

Sam Frey, a late addition to the starting lineup in goal, made two first-half saves to keep it 1-0.

Frey made another key save in the 70th minute off a corner by Drew. A first attempt was blocked by the defense, then consecutive shots by Chris Chyzowych were kept out as the first went off a defender and his follow-up was stuffed by Frey at the near post.

The Jays weren't able to put a quality chance on frame. Gui Yamamoto's free kick just missed outside left of the left post in the 52nd minute.

Connor Kirchner had a go late in the game, but couldn't get enough power and whip on the ball to push it past Friedhoff in goal.

Elizabethtown will play at Goucher on Saturday, October 25, at 3:30 p.m.
