ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Prior to Saturday's game, the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team honored its eight seniors in a pregame ceremony before finishing off the day on the pitch with a 1-0 victory over Stevenson. Jenna Hoffmann scored the lone goal of the game for the Jays.

Elizabethtown controlled the game as they handily outshot the Mustangs over 90 minutes.

Stevenson goalie Alison Halstead did all she could to keep her team in the game, making nine saves in the contest.

Hoffmann was able to beat the goalkeeper in the 58th minute to put Etown ahead, which would be for good. The goal was her second of the season to tie for the team lead.

Senior goalies Rena Rankin and Adrienne McGallicher each played in the game and combined for the shutout.

Elizabethtown will host Lancaster Bible on Tuesday, September 17, at 7:30 p.m.
